Donald Trump is leading Hillary Clinton in Georgia, despite the Democrat’s efforts to flip the red state this November, a poll released Sunday shows.
The GOP nominee holds a slight edge in the Peach State, 45 percent to 41 percent, in the CBS News Battleground tracking poll.
Georgia hasn’t voted for a Democrat for president since 1992, but Clinton spied an opening after previous surveys showed her tied or ahead of Trump, and she is now investing more money to hire ground organizers in the state.
