“Eleven months ago, I inherited a mess, and I’m fixing it,” Trump declared during his chart-filled remarks. “We had the worst trade deals ever made, and our country was laughed at from all over the world, but they’re not laughing anymore.
“But they’re not laughing anymore,” he continued. “Over the past 11 months, we have brought more positive change to Washington than any administration in American history.”
Trump also revealed during his 20-minute remarks that $1,776 “warrior dividend” checks will be given to the nation’s 1.45 million service members before Christmas.
Meanwhile, oil prices rose Wednesday after Trump ordered a “total and complete blockade” of all oil tankers heading to and leaving Venezuela.
