Stay up to date with live coverage of the Trump administration and national politics Wednesday as President Trump touts a “STRONG BORDER” and a “great Economy” while wishing Americans a happy New Year.

Trump posted the message on Truth Social late Tuesday evening. He wrote, “The polls are rigged even more than the writers. The real number is 64%, and why not, our Country is “hotter” than ever before. Isn’t it nice to have a STRONG BORDER, No Inflation, a powerful Military, and great Economy??? Happy New Year!”

He was referring to a poll by the Trafalgar Group that stated 50 percent of voters approve of Trump.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration froze all childcare payments to Minnesota and is demanding a comprehensive audit of the state’s day care centers as a billion-dollar fraud scandal engulfs the state’s human services department.

Minnesota has received $185 million in childcare payments from the Trump administration this year, according to Alex Adams, assistant secretary of HHS’ Administration for Children and Families.
