The president signed the congressional legislation that will force the federal government to release the documents related to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Trump announced he signed the bill on Truth Social on Wednesday evening.
“I HAVE JUST SIGNED THE BILL TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!” Trump wrote in a lengthy Truth Social post.
The Department of Justice now has 30 days to turn over all “unclassified records, documents, communications and investigative materials” — and all classified information to the maximum extent possible — to Congress.
On Thursday, Trump took to Truth Social to lash out at six Democratic lawmakers who released a video on social media this week urging service members to defy “illegal orders” by the administration. They have since hit back at the president after his accusations.
Also on Thursday, Cheney’s funeral was held in Washington, DC. Former Presidents Joe Biden and George W. Bush were in attendance along with a number of other lawmakers. Cheney passed away on Nov. 3 at age 84.
