Donald Trump’s national political director said Thursday he was leaving the campaign, less than three weeks before Election Day.
Jim Murphy, a GOP operative working in battleground states, told Politico that he had to step back for personal reasons.
The move by Murphy, who worked closely with the Republican National Committee, comes as Trump slides in polls.
