President Trump and the Republican National Committee continued raking in the dough last month, collecting $10.8 million — a party record for May of a post-presidential year.

The haul was more than twice the Democratic National Committee’s May take of $4.7 million, according to Friday filings reported by Politico. It was the second month in a row that GOP fund-raising doubled that of the Democrats.

Trump has continued to make campaign-style appearances to build up his base in the states that won him the White House, including stops in Wisconsin and Florida last week.
