President Trump had to backpedal Thursday after boasting that his victory “was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan.”

“You said today that you had the biggest electoral margin since Ronald Reagan — 304, 306 electoral votes,” said NBC’s Peter Alexander. “In fact, President Obama got 365 in 2008.”

“Well, I’m talking about Republicans,” Trump came back.

“George H.W. Bush — 426 when he won as president,” Alexander continued.

“I was given that information, I was just given it — we had a very, very big margin,” Trump responded.
