President Trump on Thursday blasted Democrats for what he said were “bulls–t partisan investigations.”
Trump attempted to highlight the differences between the GOP and Democrats during his rally in Grand Rapids, Mich. — claiming the opposition needs to make a decision about their priorities.
He wondered whether they could continue “defrauding the public with ridiculous bulls–t partisan investigations, or whether they will apologize to the American people.”
Trump implored Dems to “join us to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure, bring down the cost of health care and prescription drugs … help us fix our broken trade deals.”
The “investigations” remarks appeared to be in reference to special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference into the 2016 election, which was concluded last week.
According to Attorney General William Barr’s letter to Congress, Mueller found no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government but did not come to a conclusion on obstruction of justice.
