President Trump resumed his feud with Chief Justice John Roberts in a pair of Thanksgiving Day tweets and blasted judges for “making our country unsafe” when they decide cases against his agenda, warning they will create “bedlam.”

“Justice Roberts can say what he wants, but the 9th Circuit is a complete & total disaster. It is out of control, has a horrible reputation, is overturned more than any Circuit in the Country, 79%, & is used to get an almost guaranteed result,” the president wrote on his Twitter account.

“Judges must not Legislate Security and Safety at the Border, or anywhere else. They know nothing about it and are making our Country unsafe. Our great Law Enforcement professionals MUST BE ALLOWED TO DO THEIR JOB! If not there will be only bedlam, chaos, injury and death. We want the Constitution as written!,” the president wrote while on Thanksgiving break at his Florida resort Mar-a-Lago.

Trump and Roberts exchanged comments on Wednesday after the justice rebuked the president for slamming a federal judge appointed by former President Obama who ruled against his asylum ban.

“We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges. What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them,” Roberts said in a statement. “That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”

Trump lashed out after Judge Joh Tigar in San Francisco issued a restraining order on Monday against the president’s ban on allowing migrants illegally crossing the border to apply for asylum.

He said the action was necessary to check the migrant caravan from Central America that had arrived at the US-Mexican border over the weekend – the same argument he made about his Muslim travel ban that was ultimately upheld by the Supreme Court.

Tigar ruled that Congress provides migrants the right to apply no matter where they enter the country.

“This was an Obama judge, and I’ll tell you what, it’s not going to happen like this anymore,” an irate Trump said about Tigar’s decision.

He also blasted the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which has ruled against several of Trump’s immigration policies, for being unfair to him.

“We get beaten, and then we end up having to go to the Supreme Court. Like the travel ban that we won. The 9th Circuit, we are going to have to look at that,” Trump told reporters.

In the president’s twitter tear against Roberts on Wednesday, he urged the conservative justice to “study the numbers” of how many times the Ninth Circuit rules against his administration’s agenda.

“They are shocking. We need protection and security – these rulings are making our country unsafe! Very dangerous and unwise!,” the president wrote.
