Donald Trump raged online Wednesday morning as he demanded that Republicans in Congress “defund” the Department of Justice and the FBI — claiming that Democrats had “weaponized” the system to “interfere” with elections.

“REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS SHOULD DEFUND THE DOJ AND FBI UNTIL THEY COME TO THEIR SENSES,” the former president, 76, wrote on Truth Social shortly before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, less than 24 hours after pleading not guilty to over 30 felony charges.

“THE DEMOCRATS HAVE TOTALLY WEAPONIZED LAW ENFORCEMENT IN OUR COUNTRY AND ARE VICIOUSLY USING THIS ABUSE OF POWER TO INTERFERE WITH OUR ALREADY UNDER SIEGE ELECTIONS!”

The fiery rebuke came after Judge Juan Merchan warned the real estate mogul about his social media rants during his arraignment in Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday afternoon.

Trump is facing 34 felony charges of falsifying New York state business records as part of a catch-and-kill hush-money scheme during his 2016 White House bid. 

In his first post-arraignment remarks at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night, however, the flame-haired firebrand showed no sign of holding back, and branded the legal maneuvers against him a “witch hunt.”

“The only crime that I’ve committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it,” Trump claimed.

“The criminal is [Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg] because he illegally leaked massive amounts of grand jury information, for which he should be prosecuted — or at a minimum, he should resign,” he continued, referring to the details of the lengthy indictment that were leaked before the proceedings.

Trump also branded Merchan as “Trump-hating,” and criticized the fact that Merchan’s daughter reportedly worked for the Biden-Harris campaign.

At his own press conference, Bragg slammed Trump for his repeated “criminal conduct.”

“At its core, this case today — along with allegations like so many of our white-collar cases — are allegations someone lied again and again to protect their interests and evade the laws to which we are all held accountable,” he said.

“As this office has done time and time again, we today uphold our solemn responsibility to ensure everyone stands equal before the law.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s attorneys slammed the charges as “disappointing,” and criticized the indictment for not containing any “facts.”

“The indictment itself is boilerplate. It’s really disappointing. It’s sad and we’ll fight it,” Tom Blanche said outside the Manhattan Criminal Court building on Tuesday afternoon.

The former president and 2024 White House hopeful is due back in court on Dec. 4.
