President elect Donald Trump sided with Russian strongman Vladimir Putin who trashed Hillary Clinton and denied his country interfered in the US election during a press conference earlier in the day.

“Vladimir Putin said today about Hillary and Dems: “In my opinion, it is humiliating. One must be able to lose with dignity.” So true!” Trump tweeted Friday night.

The tweet came as Trump continued to side with Russia, who US intelligence agencies have determined interfered in the presidential election.

Putin echoed Trump’s excuse for the hacking of the Democratic National Committee by claiming during the press conference that the perpetrator could have been a “guy on a couch.”

Trump has claimed that instead of Russia’s intelligence, the hackers could be a” 400 pound guy” or “some guy at his home in New Jersey.”
