A Trump-hating thief pulled a knife on a 47-year-old man sporting a MAGA hat in Lower Manhattan — but the victim refused to give up the cap despite the man’s demands, police said Friday.

“Are you a Trump supporter?” the young man asked of the 47-year-old as he walked on Washington Street near W. Houston Street in Greenwich Village around 9:45 p.m. Oct. 2, according to police and sources.

The young thief then said, “I don’t like Trump supporters,” and tried to take the hat.

At one point, he pulled a knife while saying, “Give me your hat or I will stick you,” before running off without the hat, according to police. 

The 47-year-old was uninjured in the encounter.

Police released an image of the thief Friday.
