Renowned operatic pop star Andrea Bocelli belted a song to President Trump in the Oval Office Friday ahead of his high stakes summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The commander-in-chief was shown standing at the Resolute Desk and smiling as the famed Italian tenor — who is a well-known Ukraine supporter — performed the brief, seemingly impromptu private show,  according to footage tweeted by Trump’ special assistant Margo Martin. 

“He’s coming December 5th to perform at the White House for some of the people. If the cabinet members are good, if they’re doing a good job, we’ll let them come along with some others, right? We’re gonna have a good time,” Trump said of why the 67-year-old crooner paid him a visit.

Other footage tweeted by Martin shows the men chatting at Trump’s desk and listening to a recording of a Bocelli song.

Bocelli has shown support for Ukraine by joining fundraising efforts for war refugees and even adopting a dog named Jack who was injured in the war.

The singer runs a charity, the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, which also helps raise money for emergency aid in Ukraine and provides housing, food and medicine to refugees. It also offers “psychological support concerts” to offer hope to displaced families.

Trump is a longtime fan of the singer, who is famous for his hit “Time to Say Goodbye”  and collaborating with stars such as Celine Dion and Ed Sheeran.

The president has played his music at his rallies, including “Time To Say Goodbye” at an event in Pennsylvania in October 2024. 

In 2011, Trump also held a family “reunion” with Ivana, Donald, Melania and Ivanka at an Andrea Bocelli concert in Central Park, according to the New York Times. 

Bocelli had been rumored to perform at Trump’s 2016 inauguration but reportedly backed out because he feared backlash after a “Boycott Bocelli” movement popped up online, Page Six reported at the time.
