President Trump jokingly lamented that his daughter’s marriage to Jared Kushner blocked him from having a certain five-time Super Bowl winner as is son-in-law.

Trump cracked several times that he “could have had Tom Brady,” according to a published report that quotes unnamed sources.

“Instead,” the president said, “I got Jared Kushner,” the New York Times reported Saturday.

It didn’t have to be that way.

Ex-wife Ivana wrote in her 2017 book “Raising Trump” that her ex tried to set up Ivanka with the MVP signal-caller.

“He said, ‘You have to meet him!’ But Ivanka wasn’t into it,” Ivana wrote.

Or was she?

Rumors had it that Brady and the first daughter did date. Ex-White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci told TMZ in September he believed the two were once an item. Brady reportedly supported Trump during the 2016 election, though Brady’s wife Gisele Bundchen denied this.
