A number of Trump staffers were running across the lawn to prepare for the visit.

President Trump and first lady Melania Trump have arrived at Windsor Castle. They will be greeted by King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Trump calls the UK a 'very special place'

The president called the United Kingdom a "very special place" and told reporters he loved being back in the country.

He said he was looking forward to meeting with King Charles III.

Meanwhile at Windsor Castle, a number of employees are working to get everything in tip-top shape for Trump's visit. Hundreds of workers are taking care of dinner and the garden.

Trump travels to the UK for his second state visit, will visit Windsor Castle

President Trump is in the UK with first lady Melania. The two will visit to Windsor Castle to meet with King Charles III and Queen Camilla. They will be greeted by Prince William and Kate Middleton.

After a greeting, the Trumps will travel through the castle's grounds before paying their respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Trump will lay a wreath on her tomb.

Trump and King Charles will deliver remarks before a state banquet.

Security will be constrained for the event. The last time Trump met with the royal family was in 2019. He had a banquet with Queen Elizabeth II. She passed away in September 2022.

Trump arrives at US ambassador's residence in London ahead of 'very big day'

President Trump arrived Tuesday evening at Winfield House, the US ambassador's residence in London.

“We just had a good flight, a lot of people came with us. Tomorrow’s going to be a very big day,” Trump told reporters.

“We are going to see [King Charles III] tomorrow. He’s been a friend of mine for a long time. And everybody respects him and they love him.”

Asked about how he felt to be in the UK, Trump said, “I love it," adding: "I love Turnberry, I love Aberdeen. I have a lot of things here that — they warm my heart, I want to tell you. It’s a very special place."

Next hearing for Tyler Robinson scheduled for Sept. 29

The next hearing for alleged assassin Tyler Robinson is set for Sept. 29, the judge said during Tuesday's meeting.

Robinson faces a laundry list of charges that could land him on death row.

The 22-year-old didn't enter a plea during Tuesday's hearing. He was still in his cell at Utah Valley Jail dressed in an anti-suicide smock.

The next meeting, a waiver hearing, will also be virtual. It will take place on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.

No plea entered during Tyler Robinson's first court appearance

Alleged assassin Tyler Robinson did not enter a plea during his first court appearance on Tuesday afternoon.

Robinson is facing seven charges, including aggravated murder for allegedly assassinating conservative pundit Charlie Kirk during a debate at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

The 22-year-old may face the death penalty in Utah, one of five states that still allows death by firing squad.

He is expected to appear in court for a waiver hearing on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.

Protective order granted for Erika Kirk, family

A protective order has been granted for Erika Kirk against Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old who allegedly assassinated her husband Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.

Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder for Charlie's gruesome assassination on Sept. 10 during a "Prove Me Wrong" debate at UVU.

The alleged shooter hasn't been cooperating with authorities and was reportedly obsessed with Charlie Kirk. Robinson left a note behind apparently confessing to his live-in transitioning boyfriend, authorities said.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Erika, and their two young children.
