Loudspeakers in Gaza blast Netanyahu's UN speech live for Gazans from Israeli side of the border: pics

By Sarah Ng

Loudspeakers blasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's United Nations General Assembly speech live for Gazans from the Israeli side of the border.

The Prime Minister’s Office instructed the Israel Defense Forces to broadcast Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Friday speech to the UN General Assembly live to residents in the Gaza Strip.

After reports Friday morning that the IDF was ordered to disperse loudspeakers on trucks throughout the Strip, the PMO confirmed that it was planning to play the speech live for Gazans, but asserted that it would only be doing so from the Israeli side of the border.

Trump says federal shutdown possible next week: 'We're going to see'

By Steven Nelson

President Trump said Friday morning that a partial government shutdown is possible next week — and pinned the blame on congressional Democrats who are attempting to use a Sept. 30 funding deadline to extend enhanced pandemic-era Obamacare subsidies.

"Well, we're going to see but the radical left Democrats want to shut it down. I mean, it's up to them," Trump said as he departed the White House en route to the Ryder Cup on Long Island.

"We have a great economy going. You saw the numbers yesterday. They're fantastic. The economy is doing well. Prices are down. We have virtually no inflation. Everything is going good. We're respected by every nation in the world. And you know what happens? The Democrats want to shut it down."

Democrats are demanding an extension of enhanced tax credits that currently benefit about 22 million of the 24 million people who bought insurance through the Affordable Care Act marketplace, according to Kaiser Family Foundation.

In an attempt to get Democrats to change course, the White House has threatened to permanently fire many federal workers if a spending bill isn't passed by the deadline.

Trump denies having 'list' of enemies to prosecute, but says 'I think there will be others' after Comey indictment

By Steven Nelson

President Trump denied having an enemies list of adversaries to prosecute, but told reporters "I think there will be others" after former FBI Director James Comey was indicted Thursday.

"It's not a list, but I think there'll be others. I mean, they're corrupt," Trump told reporters Friday morning on the White House lawn.

"These were corrupt radical left Democrats, because Comey, essentially, was a Dem — he's worse than a Democrat. I would say the Democrats are better than Comey.

"But no, there will be others. Look, that's my opinion. They weaponized the Justice Department like nobody in history. What they've done is terrible ... frankly, I hope there are others."

Trump, who called on the Justice Department to charge Comey with lying to Congress before a grand jury returned two felony counts related to 2020 congressional testimony, called it a "pretty easy case."
