Trump says his own resort will host G20: 'Everybody wants it there'

By Steven Nelson

President Trump says that his own golf resort — Trump National Doral Miami — will host next year's G20 summit in Florida.

"Everybody wants it there because it's right next to the airport. It's the best location. It's beautiful — beautiful everything," Trump said Friday afternoon in the Oval Office.

"They actually requested that it be there because the location is the best and we will not make any money on it. You know, we're doing a deal where it's not going to be money — there's no money in it."

Trump said that his Doral resort will be used because "you can't get a room in Florida in December" and his own property will ensure that each country will "have their own buildings."

"It'll be incredible for them, and being like 10 minutes, less than 10 minutes, from the airport, and it's a big airport," he said.

"All of the planes will be able to land and go right into their quarters. So I think it'll work out."

Trump in 2019 announced plans to host the 2020 G7 summit at the Doral resort, but changed course in response to bipartisan criticism.

By Josh Christenson

Top secret SEAL Team 6 killed North Korean civilians during failed covert mission in 2019: report

By Zoe Hussain

A group of Navy SEALs secretly entered North Korea in early 2019 to plant a device to intercept the communications of dictator Kim Jong Un — but ended up firing on unarmed civilians diving for shellfish, puncturing their lungs to conceal their bodies and aborting the mission, according to a report.

The top-secret mission, reportedly authorized by President Trump during his first term, was carried out by SEAL Team 6’s Red Squadron — the same unit that killed Osama Bin Ladenthe New York Times reported Friday.
