President Trump got caught up in the solar excitement on Monday when he quickly glanced directly toward the eclipse as it passed over Washington, DC.
Trump, along with his son Barron and first lady Melania, came out on a White House balcony to watch the spectacle.
As the president gestured toward the sky and looked upward a White House aide joked, “Don’t look!”
But the solar glance didn’t do any damage, as Trump and the first family put on their protective sunglasses to watch the peak of the eclipse.
