President Trump got knee-deep in Washington, DC, snow prep.

The commander-in-chief met Monday with the mayor of Washington, as well as the general manager of the Metro transit system, in preparation for Tuesday’s snow fall.

“Meeting w/ Washington, D.C. @MayorBowser and Metro GM Paul Wiedefeld about incoming winter storm preparations here in D.C. Everyone be safe!” Trump tweeted Monday night.

Most estimates say only 1-3 inches of snow fell in Washington, DC, on Monday night into Tuesday morning.

DC public schools are on a 2-hour delay Tuesday, while the federal government in on a 3-hour delay, with employees having the option to telework or take unscheduled leave if necessary.
