President Trump on Tuesday questioned the delay with a Justice Department report about the FBI’s probe into Hillary Clinton’s private email server — saying he hopes it is not being altered.

“What is taking so long with the Inspector General’s Report on Crooked Hillary and Slippery James Comey. Numerous delays,” the president said in a tweet.

“Hope Report is not being changed and made weaker! There are so many horrible things to tell, the public has the right to know. Transparency!” he added.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is expected to soon release a report criticizing the department and the FBI for their handling of the probe into Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state, sources told the Washington Post.

The president has assailed federal law enforcement as special counsel Robert Mueller investigates Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign, as well as whether the president obstructed justice.

Trump has repeatedly attacked Comey, the FBI director whom he fired and who oversaw the Clinton email probe.

Last week, Trump threatened to “get involved” in the Justice Department over the Russian meddling probe and the refusal of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to bend to his will.

“A Rigged System — They don’t want to turn over Documents to Congress. What are they afraid of? Why so much redacting? Why such unequal ‘justice?’ At some point I will have no choice but to use the powers granted to the Presidency and get involved!” Trump posted on Twitter.
