Mr. President, start your engine.

President Trump plans to take “The Beast,” his heavily armored presidential limousine, for a lap around the Daytona International Speedway track on Sunday, Fox Business reported.

Trump will serve as the grand marshal of the annual Daytona 500, NASCAR announced Friday — the first president to take that role.

He has cultivated NASCAR team owners — and its fans — for years, hosting series champs at the White House and awarding NASCAR team owner Roger Penske the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Trump has also taken inordinate pride in his bulky presidential ride, a Cadillac limo built atop a heavy-duty truck chassis.

He made a point of showing it off to North Korea’s Kim Jong-un when the two met in Singapore in 2018 – and even made a Secret Service agent open a passenger door to give the dictator a rare glimpse inside.
