President Trump said Tuesday night that his closed-door meeting with Russia president Vladimir Putin went well while slamming the “Fake News” media.

“The meeting between President Putin and myself was a great success, except in the Fake News Media!” Trump tweeted.

The two-hour-long chat between the world leaders preceded a bizarre joint press conference with Putin.

Details of the actual meeting between Trump and Putin, however, were not available because there was only a translator in the room with them.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Tuesday called for a hearing on the closed-door summit and asked to have the translator testify.

“Where are the notes from that meeting?” Schumer said.

“What did the president agree to? Can we have the translator come in and testify?”
