Former President Donald Trump revealed Friday that his youngest son, Barron, is one of his closest political advisers — hours before word emerged that the 18-year-old would not take part in this summer’s Republican National Convention as a delegate from Florida.

“He’s a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he’s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy. And he’s really been a great student. And he does like politics. It’s sort of funny,” Trump told “Kayal and Company” on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.

“He’ll tell me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do,'” the presumptive GOP nominee went on.

“So anyway, he’s a good guy. He’s a senior now in high school, and he’ll be going to college. And you know, a lot of, a lot of these choices of colleges are changing because you see what’s going on in the last month.

Barron Trump was largely kept out of the spotlight during his youth and his father’s term of office, but has attracted widespread interest since reaching legal adulthood in March.

The soon-to-be high school graduate was to be joined by three of his older siblings — Don Jr., Eric, and Tiffany — as an at-large Sunshine State delegate at the Milwaukee convention.

However, mother Melania said in a statement Friday afternoon that Barron will not attend due to “prior commitments.”

The Republican National Convention runs from July 15 to 18.

Where Barron Trump will go to college has also been a subject of intrigue and speculation.

The Daily Beast recently reported that NYU was the teen’s top choice, but a final decision has not been confirmed by the family.

The former president had complained that his ongoing Manhattan trial for allegedly falsifying business records to hide a $130,000 hush money payment to former porn star Stormy Daniels would prevent him from attending the graduation of his “wonderful son.”

Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the case, allowed Trump to attend the ceremony, scheduled for May 17.
