President Trump has inserted himself into the fight between three hurricane-hit churches and his own administration — and has taken the congregations’ side.

“Churches in Texas should be entitled to reimbursement from FEMA Relief Funds for helping victims of Hurricane Harvey (just like others),” he tweeted Friday night.

The churches, in Rockport and the Houston area, all suffered flooding and wind damage in the devastating storm. They are suing the federal agency over a policy that bars religious groups from receiving recovery funds — claiming the rule is unconstitutional.
