President Trump dismissed former Vice President Joe Biden as a “reclamation project” Saturday in his harshest attack yet on the stumbling Democratic presidential front-runner.

“Joe Biden is a reclamation project. Some things are just not salvageable,” he tweeted from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. “China and other countries that ripped us off for years are begging for him.”

“He deserted our military, our law enforcement and our healthcare,” Trump continued. “Added more debt than all other Presidents combined. Won’t win!”

The gaffe-prone Biden’s polling advantage has crumbled in the week since Sen. Kamala Harris (D-California) attacked his civil-rights record on the debate stage June 27.

Biden received 22 percent of support from registered Democrats in a CNN poll released on Monday, a decline in 10 percentage points from the last poll of its kind conducted in May.

He had another foot-in-mouth moment Friday when he claimed that Russia would not dare interfere in a U.S. election on his watch – even though members of his and former President Barack Obama’s administration insisted that Moscow did just that.

“While Putin’s trying to undo our elections, he’s actually undoing elections in, in Europe,” Biden told CNN.

“You think that would happen on my watch, on Barack’s watch? You can’t answer that, but I promise you it wouldn’t have. And it didn’t,” he asserted.
