President Trump on Wednesday accused senate Democrats of pushing “con job” allegations against his Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

“Schumer and his buddies are all laughing,” Trump said of US Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and other critics during the fifth solo press conference of his tenure, held at Manhattan’s Palace Hotel.

“They’ve destroyed a man’s reputation, and they want to destroy it even more. They know it’s a big, fat con job. I guarantee you they laugh like hell at what they pulled off on you and the public. They laugh like hell,” the president raged.

Trump raised doubts about the three women accusing Kavanaugh of sexually inappropriate behavior while in high school.

One accuser is expected to give testimony during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday.

He refused to say whether he believed the women.

“I can’t tell you whether they are liars until I hear them,” he said.
