President Trump said that when Justin Trudeau criticized him as Trump jetted to Singapore aboard Air Force One, the Canadian prime minister perhaps didn’t realize that the aircraft is outfitted with banks of TVs.

“​When I got onto the plane, I think that Justin probably didn’t know that Air Force One has about 20 televisions, and I see the television​,” Trump said Tuesday.

“And he’s giving a news conference about how he will not be pushed around by the United States. And I say, push him around? We just shook hands,” the president said.

“He . . . assumed I was in an airplane and I wasn’t watching​,” Trump said. “He learned.”
