President Trump slammed Joe Crowley just minutes after the Democratic congressman lost a primary to a political novice – even though the woman who defeated the long-time incumbent is a hard-left socialist.

“Wow! Big Trump Hater Congressman Joe Crowley, who many expected was going to take Nancy Pelosi’s place, just LOST his primary election,” Trump tweeted Tuesday night.

“In other words, he’s out! That is a big one that nobody saw happening. Perhaps he should have been nicer, and more respectful, to his President!”

Crowley, however, lost to a left-wing candidate, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is as strongly opposed to Trump — if not more so.

Earlier this year, Ocasio-Cortez accused Crowley of being “funded by the same people who financed the Trump presidency,” Newsweek reported.

Ocasio-Cortez believes in universal health care, a federal jobs guarantee, and the abolition of ICE.

In the past, Crowley has slammed Trump as “behaviorally racist” and an embarrassing “degradation of the office of the presidency.”
