President Trump blasted OPEC on Twitter Wednesday for “doing little to help” rising gas prices — saying “if anything, they are driving prices higher.”

“This must be a two way street,” Trump tweeted. “REDUCE PRICING NOW!”

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries cartel has agreed to increase its crude oil production by more than 1 million barrels a day in an effort to drive down prices. Trump, however, seemed doubtful following their announcement in June.

“Hope OPEC will increase output substantially,” the president tweeted on June 22. “Need to keep prices down!”
