President Trump returned to Twitter Saturday to reassure his followers after Friday’s bruising healthcare loss.
“ObamaCare will explode and we will all get together and piece together a great healthcare plan for THE PEOPLE,” he posted at 10:37 a.m.. “Do not worry!”
Earlier in the day, he had studiously ignored the legislative debacle.
“Happy #MedalOfHonorDay to our heroes!” he tweeted at 9:29 a.m., over a posed Oval Office photo of himself with a group of its recipients.
Trump’s weekly address, released earlier in the morning, focused on the $19.5 billion NASA Transition Authorization Act, which he signed into law on Tuesday to develop long-range plans for the exploration of deep space.
“Whatever it takes and however long it will be, we are a Nation of problem solvers—and the future belongs to us,” Trump said, sounding a hopeful note despite the collapse of the previous day’s Obamacare reform effort.
