President Trump’s personal lawyer said Wednesday that ex-FBI Director James Comey’s testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee has left Trump feeling “completely and totally vindicated.”

“The president is pleased that Mr. Comey has finally publicly confirmed his private reports that the President was not under investigation in any Russia probe,” New York attorney Marc Kasowitz wrote in a statement.

“The president feels completely and totally vindicated. He is eager to continue to move forward with his agenda,” Kasowitz said in the statement, first reported by Bloomberg.

Comey wrote that Trump asked him to deep-six the feds’ investigation into ex-national security adviser Mike Flynn.
