Donald Trump and wife Melania’s first dance as first couple will reportedly be to “My Way.”

Nashville-based jazz singer Erin Boehme will sing the song — written by Paul Anka and popularized by Frank Sinatra in 1969 — at the Liberty Ball on Friday night, the Washington Examiner reported on Thursday.

Sinatra’s daughter, 76-year-old “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” singer Nancy Sinatra, is no fan of the new president, and had this to say about the song choice:

“Just remember the first line of the song,” she tweeted Wednesday night.

“My Way” begins: “And now, the end is near.”

Still, when a Twitter user sent her a note saying that she probably wasn’t happy about the choice of song, Nancy took the high road.

“I’m wishing him the best,” she responded.

“A good president helps the entire world. I don’t believe anyone tries to be a bad president.”

Anka was supposed to sing at the ball with lyrics he rewrote for the event.

But he canceled, citing a conflict.

“The president-elect is an old friend of mine for 50 years,” Anka, 75, told TMZ.

“There was a dialogue to do it. ‘My Way’ was his favorite song.”

Anka said he’s in the middle of a two-year custody battle over his son, Ethan, and had to cancel because of a last-minute scheduling change in the case.

“I have a respect for the office of the presidency,” he added. “I was doing it in terms of what’s good for our country and respecting the presidency.”

He stressed that he and Trump don’t share the same political views.

“You’re gonna have a better chance getting sunrise past a rooster on that one,” he told TMZ.
