President Trump’s coronavirus tweet really went viral.

Of the more than 56,000 tweets he has sent since he joined the platform in 2009, the one in which he announced his and first lady Melania Trump’s coronavirus diagnoses was the most retweeted and “liked” ever, according to Axios.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” the president tweeted at 12:54 a.m. EST.

As of 8 a.m., the tweet had racked up more than 326,000 retweets and 403,000 quote tweets — a retweet made with a comment — making it Trump’s most shared tweet ever.

The tweet has garnered more than 1.1 million “likes,” also a record in that category.

Previously, Trump’s most-liked tweet was when he announced Aug. 2, 2019, that rapper A$AP Rocky was released from prison and on his way back to the US from Sweden, Axios reported.
