Voters agree with Donald Trump: America isn’t as great as it used to be.

A Bloomberg Politics survey released Thursday found that 72 percent of voters believe that America’s best days are behind it — much like GOP front-runner Trump, whose campaign slogan is “Make America Great Again.”

Given four choices to describe America, only 6 percent picked “greater than ever,” while 20 percent selected “equally great as in the past.” But 47 percent said the nation is “falling behind,” and 25 percent said the US is “failing.”

Reasons cited were “moral decay,” “our own lagging work ethic” and the Islamic State threat.

In the poll, Trump led his GOP rivals with 21 percent, followed by Ben Carson (16), Jeb Bush (13), Carly Fiorina (11) and Marco Rubio (8).
