The porn star featured in the X-rated clip “liked” by Sen. Ted Cruz’s Twitter account learned of her newfound celebrity status while dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.

“So I hear I am trending with Ted Cruz. I am literally in the dark with hardly any access to the internet world #OMG #hurricaneimra,” Cory Chase wrote Tuesday morning.

Chase basked in the attention, posting a screenshot and captioning it, “You know it’s crazy when you finally open up Twitter and your notifications show you this… #corychasecruz.”

It’s unclear where the XXX actress is located but she’s recently posted about the storm that’s left a path of destruction in the Caribbean and Florida.

“Lost power last night. Putting everything in power save mode.”
