A powerful earthquake shook Qinghai, a remote province in western China, early Saturday morning.
The magnitude 6.9 quake was recorded at 1:45 a.m. local time, the Associated Press reported.
Several rail tunnels were damaged, forcing the closure of several high-speed rail lines.
