A pregnant woman was fatally shot while inside a car in Philadelphia Thursday afternoon, according to reports.

The 25-year-old woman was on West Berks Street in North Philadelphia when she was blasted in the right side of her head at around 2:35 p.m., The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was rushed to Temple University Hospital in grave condition. She was pronounced dead at about 6:45 p.m., according to the news outlet.

The woman is four months pregnant, according to NBC10, which reported that police said the shooting may have been a domestic situation. No arrests were immediately made.
