Prez’s poll surprise
WASHINGTON — Recent administration scandals aren’t hurting President Obama, who holds a 53 percent approval rating, according to a new poll.
The CNN/ORC International survey, released yesterday, found that more than seven in 10 respondents called the IRS targeting of conservative groups unacceptable. But six in 10 believe Obama’s statements about not being aware of it are true.
Obama didn’t fare as well on the Benghazi attack, with only 42 percent satisfied with his statements on that.
