Prosecutors have yet to offer Dr. Thomas Frieden, the former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a plea deal in their sex abuse case against him.
Frieden, 57, stood nervously before the judge, as the prosecutor said the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office had no offer at this time.
Frieden, an Obama appointee to the CDC who is the Big Apple’s former health commissioner, stands accused of groping a friend inside his Brooklyn Heights apartment in October 2017.
Frieden was told to stay away from his accuser, and remained silent as he left court.
His attorney declined to comment.
He is due back in court Nov. 27.
