A protester was caught on video burning the American flag on a Minneapolis street as an increasingly restless mob gathered following the fatal shooting of Renée Nicole Good by an ICE agent.
Video posted on X shows the rioter — wearing sunglasses and a black balaclava — standing in a circle of protestors with the US flag, then setting it on fire until it falls to the ground in flames.
The vandal appears to get a mixed response.
A protester is seen holding a burning American flag in Minneapolis.
The demonstration occurred shortly after a woman was shot and killed by an ICE agent.
Boos rain down from the crowd, drowning out scattered cheers from the demonstrators, with one man heard shouting, “Stay in your f—ing homes. Go away. Boo. Instigator.”
The flag-burning scene unfolded near the deadly shooting on Portland Avenue and E. 34th Street, where Good, 37, was shot dead after feds say she tried to mow down an ICE agent.
Immigration officers were pelted with snowballs, and contended with protesters locking arms in attempts to block agency vehicles from roadways, responding in some cases by firing streams of bright-orange pepper spray into the raging crowds.
One dramatic photo shows a group standing arm-in-arm across a street, with one demonstrator attempting to use an umbrella as a shield in order to block the stream of chemical agent.
Authorities say Good blocked the roadway with her purple car, then refused lawful orders to surrender — with video showing one agent trying to open the driver’s side door before she hits the gas and clips another agent, who then opens fire.
She later died at a local hospital.
By early evening, crowds on the sidewalk gave way to street marches, where hundreds of angry demonstrators blocked traffic, and embattled Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz encouraged protesters to make their voices heard, but to do so peacefully.
A group of about 50 demonstrators converged on the federal courthouse in the city, blocking the entrance and shattering a glass door, the Minnesota Star Tribune reported.

“ICE out!” they shouted before dispersing, the outlet said.
President Trump said the agent, who has not been publicly identified, was hospitalized.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and local officials chastised the feds, saying the state was “at war” with the federal government and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey angrily demanded that ICE “get the f—k out” of the city at a press briefing.
Walz issued a “warning order” to the Minnesota National Guard, instructing them to be ready to deploy to city streets at a moment’s notice should the protests get out of control.
The shooting occurred less than a mile from the sidewalk where George Floyd was killed after former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.
