Protesters in St. Louis shut down a gas station on Tuesday after video surfaced on social media showing two workers kicking a woman outside its convenience store.

“I’m going to put my feet in your a-s!” one of the workers shouts, just moments before kicking the woman to the ground.

“You gotta go,” he says. “You gotta go!”

The woman, who was yelling and shouting profanities, gets up and eventually leaves — but not before getting kicked again by the other employee.

“Call the police!” the woman shouts. “That’s why they got you on you stupid b—h!”

Footage of the incident was posted Tuesday morning on Facebook by user Shemika Russell. She was reportedly parked at a Gas Mart on Delmar Boulevard in St. Louis when she saw the confrontation unfold.

“It’s too early,” Russell said in the video caption. “She did not deserve that at all.”

Russell’s video went viral on Facebook and wound up sparking a local police investigation.

Store employees told FOX 2 that the men who kicked the unidentified woman were taken into custody by St. Louis cops around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities plan to file charges against both of them. One is said to be the owner.

“This is a cornerstone to the neighborhood,” explained Wiley Price IV, a community activist who is running for state representative in the district.

“Everybody from near and far comes to this gas station, especially since they shut down the gas station on Delmar and Skinker,” he told the St. Louis American.

Members of the protest group Expect Us showed up at the Gas Mart a few hours after the men were arrested to voice their outrage.

“We are calling for accountability,” the group said in a Facebook post. “He had no right to kick her!!”

The protesters were able to bring business to a standstill by parking their cars in front of the gas pumps and demonstrating outside the store, FOX 2 reports.

About 50 people attended and no one was arrested.

“We saw a video where a young lady got kicked by the store owner,” said Rep. Bruce Franks Jr., another local activist who was in attendance for the protest. “The [workers] walked away, walked back up, and kicked her. That ain’t happening, so folks are talking about taking their community back.”

It’s unclear when authorities plan to file charges against both of the workers seen in the video. They told FOX that the earliest they’d apply for warrants would be Wednesday.
