A man who was double-parked in front of a Queens courthouse tried to mow down a court officer for giving him a ticket, authorities said yesterday.

The driver, who told police his name was John Stephens but didn’t produce identification, was charged with attempted murder and assault.

The officer, Sgt. John Flood, said he was trying to get the driver to move his car from in front of the Supreme Court building in Kew Gardens when the man backed up, then hit the accelerator.

Flood said he jumped out of the way, narrowly escaping injury with only a few bruises.

Cops who witnessed the alleged attack pulled over the driver on the next block and dragged him back to the courthouse, the man said.

“Go easy on me,” Flood said the driver told him. “I wasn’t trying to hit you.”
