This bird is not in the mood to play around.

A dead ringer for the character Red from the beloved Angry Birds video game franchise was snapped by photographer Brian E. Kushner in the back yard of his Audubon, New Jersey, home.

The Northern Cardinal looks as though he’s furrowing his brow as he flies straight toward the camera — or perhaps he’s hurling himself in the direction of a pesky pig!

We can’t know for sure, but it seems as though Red has escaped the clutches of children’s iPads in order to slingshot his way across the globe.

An investigation is ongoing.
