The mother of slain pregnant woman Rebecca Park allegedly confessed to cutting her daughter’s unborn baby out of her womb — and claimed the child’s father was her own husband, the mom-to-be’s sex offender stepfather, according to court documents.

Park, 22, was found dead in the Manistee National Forest in Michigan on Nov. 25, weeks after she vanished on Nov. 3, when she was 38 weeks pregnant.

Parks’ mother, Cortney Bartholomew, 40, and her stepfather, 47-year-old Bradly Bartholomew, allegedly dragged her to the woods, stabbed her, and cut her baby out of her womb, Wexford County prosecutors said, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Though the victim’s mother initially denied taking part in the gruesome killing, she later confessed to cops that Park was conscious when she cut the baby out of her as Bradley held a knife to her throat, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by UpNorthLive.

Cortney tried to tie off the baby’s umbilical cord. Once the child was removed, Bradley slit his stepdaughter’s throat, the documents alleged.

“When she cut the baby out, Cortney said that Rebecca was still conscious and Bradly was holding the knife to her throat. She told Rebecca to lay back, ‘Your baby is gonna die’,” the affidavit said.

She also allegedly admitted to cops that her husband Bradly had impregnated her daughter and was the father of the baby, according to the affidavit.

“Brad said it was his,” Cortney allegedly told officials.

The twisted mother also told cops that Bradly had been researching C-sections and told her that he was going to cut the baby out of Park in front of her fiancé Richard Falor, 43, with whom she was living at the time of the murder. 

Both Cortney and Park’s 21-year-old sister, Kimberly Park, also allegedly told investigators they had previous relationships with Falor, documents detailed. 

Cortney Bartholomew was Park’s biological mother, but she did not raise her. The slain mother and her siblings were adopted and raised by Stephanie Park and her husband.

“[Rebecca] deserves to be remembered as the sweet girl that she was when she was younger,” Stephanie Park told 9&10 News.

In another stomach-turning twist, the affidavit revealed that Bradly claimed he was on a sex offender registry. Additional court documents obtained by People showed that Bradly had received a 180-day sentence for an unspecified violation related to his sex offender status. 

Park’s body was left gutted and covered with leaves in the woods, the affidavit added. 

The mom-to-be wasn’t found for roughly three weeks after she vanished. 

The baby never took a breath, and the couple later placed the child in a blue cooler, then in a trash bag, and then inside a garbage receptacle at a house north of their residence, the filing said.

Bradly allegedly told authorities that Cortney was motivated to viciously remove the unborn child because of her desire to have children. The couple could not adopt due to his sex offender status.

“Bradly agreed that he believes that Cortney is capable of slicing open her own flesh and blood and taking a baby out. He agreed that Cortney is obsessed with wanting another baby in her care and custody,” the affidavit said.

“He also agreed that it was a good possibility she could attack Rebecca and cut a baby out of her,” the document added.

Kimberly Park, was also arrested on Nov. 26 and charged with tampering with evidence in a criminal case, lying to a police officer during a violent crime investigation, and filing a false report of a felony.

At Kimberly’s arraignment, detectives alleged that she lied to police when she claimed their stepfather had struck Park “in the head, causing a seizure and then took her body away,” according to a felony complaint obtained by the Detroit Free Press. 

On the same day Park’s body was found, Falor was arrested and charged with distributing methamphetamine. He pleaded not guilty to the charge on Dec. 2.

The couple face identical charges, including first-degree premeditated murder, felony murder, torture in a place of confinement, conspiracy to commit torture, assault of a pregnant woman with the intention to cause miscarriage or stillbirth, conspiracy to commit that assault, unlawful imprisonment, and moving a dead body.

The Bartholomews were ordered held without bond.
