Desperate refugees turned themselves into human billboards on Thursday, pleading for the world to rescue them from their war-torn limbo.

This boy couldn’t have spelled out his plight any more clearly — showing the words “Save us,” written in ink across his back, while cooped up at a makeshift refugee camp in the northern Greek city of Idomeni.

Refugees are being kept there to stem the flow of humanity fleeing violence in Syria and Iraq and seeking to enter Europe.

The unidentified boy bore the broken-English legend “We are diaing here” on his chest and carried a handwritten sign reading, “Thanks Eu For helping Smuglers.”
