Rescuers have found all but one of the bodies of 34 people killed in the Santa Cruz dive boat inferno, authorities announced Wednesday.

Another 13 bodies were recovered throughout Tuesday, leaving just one still missing following the deadly blaze in Southern California early Monday, Coast Guard Lt. Zach Farrell confirmed.

The 34 trapped below deck were all passengers apart from one crew member. It was not clear who the missing person was.

Officials have said they were all doomed, with both escape routes blocked by fire.

Five crew members, including the captain, were on deck and managed to escape.
