Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his allies are handing out rubber chickens to attendees of the Libertarian Party convention in Washington D.C., and urging them to heckle former President Trump during his speech.

The fowl move Saturday came after the GOP frontrunner apparently ignored a challenge from the independent candidate earlier this month to debate at the convention.

The news was first reported by Fox News journalist Alexis McAdams live from the floor of the Washington Hilton, where the convention is being held. McAdams displayed one of the yellow chickens on air, which had “Debate Bobby” printed in black marker on it.

“They say tonight people are going to be squeezing these when Trump is on that stage because they want to take him on, on the debate stage,” McAdams said.

Trump and Biden have agreed to two debates, one on CNN which will take place on June 27 and another on ABC which is scheduled for Sept. 10. Robert F. Kennedy has repeatedly insisted he be allowed to participate, though so far CNN has said he does not meet the requirements.

Kennedy is widely seen as a potential spoiler for both candidates, and neither Trump nor Biden has shown much interest in sharing a debate stage with him.
