Authorities deployed robots and drones today to respond to a Sacramento house where four people were shot dead in a murder suicide — allegedly by a military veteran who has been heard in the past yelling at his wife “I’m going to F you up!”

When the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department  learned of the suspect’s specific background and after hearing reports of gunshots, they arrived at the Rancho Cordova home ready with a SWAT team, a Special Enforcement Detail unit, drones and robots.

The suspected shooter called 911 himself at 8:35 a.m., and reportedly confessed to the shooting and stated that he had “planted booby traps in the house.”

“They told the occupants to [surrender],” in an effort to get anyone inside out of the house,  a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said. “But no one responded,”

Officers broke the back fence and a side sliding glass door, and flew a drone into the house through there, where it located an unresponsive male. Fearing for officer safety due to the booby-trap threat, tactical units deployed a robot to scan the entryway and interior for potential explosives.

Officers broke the back fence and a side sliding glass door, and flew a drone into the house through there, where it located an unresponsive male. Only after the aerial footage confirmed the suspect was down did officers make their entry.

Inside, deputies discovered a grim scene. In addition to the man, they found a woman and two juveniles–one boy and one girl–who were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Late Tuesday law enforcement said they believed the killings were a murder suicide.

A neighbor who has lived on the 5400 block of Mill Water Circle since 2013 told The Post that he would hear the male suspect screaming at his family on a bi-weekly basis.

“I walk my dog down that court, and one time I heard him yell at the wife, ‘I’m going to F you up.’ I heard her say, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry,’ but I just didn’t want to get involved, because the dude was kind of unhinged.”

The neighbor described him as an introvert, and speculated that he might have PTSD. “He had a very deep, loud voice to the point where the neighbors would hear him screaming.” The area is reportedly popular among veterans, with nearly half a dozen former service members living in the two block radius.

Police said there was no history of domestic violence calls to the family’s home.
