A former college basketball standout went on trial yesterday for allegedly groping a woman inside trendy nightclub Lotus, but the cowardly cager didn’t show up to face the music.
Assistant Manhattan DA John Temple said Marcelo Da Barrosa, 26, fled to his native Brazil, but the 6-foot-7 former Kansas State University basketball player’s sexual-abuse trial went on as scheduled.
