Russian airport officials were caught on tape laughing and making jokes as they watched a passenger jet burn, killing 41 people, over the weekend.

“It’s burning strongly. If it landed like this, then it means people [were] injured on board,’’ a man says on the videotape, according to a translation by the Mirror of Britain.

The footage was shot from inside a control room looking onto the tarmac at Moscow’s airport as flames engulfed the plane, trapping dozens.

A woman responds, “Why? Why injured?’’

A man replies, “Well, how else would it be?’’ — prompting laughter.

A male voice can then be heard saying, “An OK landing — a landing with a bang,’’ as more laughter erupts.

The firm that manages the airport denied that people on the tape worked for it or Aeroflot, the state-run carrier whose jet fatally caught fire, according to the BBC.

It urged an investigation into the sickening videotaped incident.
